Ms. McCann joined Pediatric Orthopaedic Associates in January of 2012 and brings great experience and energy to our patients. She was raised in Johnson City, Tennessee where she was a cheerleader for the Buccaneers of East Tennessee State University. She received her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics where she was named the department 'Senior of the Year'. After graduation, she attended an American Dietetic Association internship and became licensed as a Registered Dietitian. She worked in the field of nutrition as a hospital dietitian in Tennessee as well as Tampa, Florida before attending the Barry University Physician Assistant Program. She now lives in Atlanta with her husband Jeremy and 2 dogs. 
 

Nikki grew up surrounded by orthopedic injuries with a father who is an orthopedic surgeon. In high school she worked at his office and spent time shadowing their sports injury physical therapists. She also had the opportunity to shadow her father in many different surgical cases throughout the years.    
 

Nikki enjoys going on mission trips and hopes to get into medical missions. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, baseball, and spending time with her friends and family.
